My husband is a huge steak lover and I adore lobster...and let me tell yo - the lobster tail was nothing short of remarkable. Incredible. It was cooked to perfection, buttery and tender and an impressive size. Now, to be honest, I have no idea what the sauce was under the tail but so good. My hubby said the filet was cooked to perfection and also a decent size and absolutely seasoned to an ideal flavor. Note: He stated that they offer a great peppercorn sauce to compliment the steak and mashed potatoes.
Four days after our first experience, we decided to make this spot our final dinner while in Durango...and we are so glad we did.

Near the middle of our second and final dinner, we had a chat across the table from a bartender (who was training the night) and the lead bartender (trainer) who were both diligent and attentive - checking in and asking if we were happy. It was awesome. All-around top notch service. Before enjoying dinner, we also split one order of pork belly uns. They called them baos. The pork belly buns are spectacular, as is the chopped salad (brilliant update of a classic) and the pork. Hands down, fantastic.
Then came dessert time. We indulged in two mouthwatering desserts: gluten free chocolate mousse and beignets with lemon curd. It was a wonderful, tasty duo that definitely promised to satisfy our sweet craving. This delectable selection offers a symphony of flavors and textures, and each bite is a journey through a sweet wonderland, where sweet and savory harmonize in delightful perfection, leaving your taste buds dancing with delight and your heart yearning for just one more heavenly bite. Yes, Eolus Bar & Dining is that good.
